Product Review - Cloud B Giraffe

Cloud B Giraffe

It’s a known fact that babies calm down and sleep better to a “shushing” sound. And if you go into almost any baby isle you’ll find several different items that make noise for babies to sleep to. But the item that I would recommend to other parents would be the Cloud B Gentle Giraffe –On the Go.

It has a little noise box that tucks safely into the back of the giraffe. It has four different soothing sounds, one of them being the shushing womb sound that works magic on a baby. It has a volume control so if you’re shopping it can be cranked up to help cover up the noise of the store or if you’re at home it can be turned down to be more soothing and relaxing. It takes two AA batteries, but unlike other baby items it doesn’t just burn through them. And what I find nice about the take along is that it has a Velcro strap that you can use to attach to the car seat, the stroller, the crib, or just about any place. And the giraffe itself is a soft plush toy so it’s still comfortable to hug and cuddle with.

We bought it for Thomas when he was four months old. The Easter Bunny left it in his basket. And now that he is two years old, it is still one of his favorite things to have around. It brings as much comfort as his favorite teddy bear or his favorite blanket.

I bought mine at Target for about 25 dollars. But you can also purchase it directly from them at http://cloudb.stores.yahoo.net/ongo1.html.  So if you’re looking for something to help your baby sleep better or for a good baby shower gift I would recommend this. I haven’t had any troubles with the one that I bought.

It’s just one of them items that help parents keep a little bit of sanity intact.
